COMPIMG

Cookies & Local Storage

What the initial CompIMG package stores

The supplied theme uses browser local storage to remember whether you prefer light or dark visual mode. This preference is stored on your device and does not require a tracking cookie. Local storage may persist until you clear it through your browser settings.

WordPress and administrator cookies

WordPress can set cookies for administrator sessions, logged-in accounts and some core features. Their exact names, purposes and lifetime depend on the installed WordPress version, extensions and site configuration.

Analytics and ads are not enabled by default

The supplied package includes optional ad-code slots but does not populate them. If advertising, analytics, embeds, marketing tags or additional plugins are installed, those providers may set identifiers or access device information. Their behavior depends on the publisher configuration and must be disclosed separately.

Consent and your choices

Where local privacy laws require consent for nonessential storage or advertising technologies, the operator should implement a suitable consent manager before activating those integrations. Visitors can manage existing cookies and local storage through their browser settings. Blocking some storage may cause preferences to reset.

Changes to this policy

The site operator should update this page whenever the website changes its cookie, analytics, advertising or embedded-content configuration. For current questions, use the Contact page.
